In today's tech-savvy world, managing your finances online is a breeze, but it also comes with some cybersecurity responsibilities. At Excite Credit Union, we've got your back, and we're here to share five straightforward tips to help you protect your money and personal information in the digital realm. 1. **Create Strong, Unique Passwords** Your first line of defense is a good old password. Skip the easy-to-guess ones like "password123" or your birthday. Go for strong, unique passwords that mix upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Most importantly, use different passwords for each online account to prevent one breach from compromising the rest. 2. **Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)** Think of 2FA as your financial sidekick.
